Grammy Recap

As I'm sure most of you know, last night were the 57th Annual Grammy Awards. The night was filled with beautiful celebrities, beautiful dresses, and most importantly, beautiful music. The night ranged from amazing performances to Kanye almost pulling another Kanye. If you weren't able to tune in, keep reading for a Grammy 2015 recap.

All of last night's performances were fabulous. They included Kanye West, Rihanna, Beyonce, Ed Sheeran, and many more. Kanye performed his new song, Only One, with Paul McCartney- the crowd was moved to say the least. Ed Sheeran also performed his hit Thinking Out Loud, which triggered thousands of tweets and posts about his talent. Later on in the night, Kanye West and Paul McCartney took the stage again, this time with Rihanna by their side, and performed their new collaboration Four Five Seconds. And of course, it wouldn't be an awards show without Queen B performing. Beyonce took the stage in an all-white outfit (looking like an angel, I might add) and sang Take My Hand, Precious Lord as a tribute to the Oscar-nominated movie Selma.

In other news, Rihanna's dress caused quite the chatter all through social media last night. I'm not sure what got into her (or her stylist), but she has definitely had better looks. Taylor Swift resembled Frozen Princess Elsa, and looked absolutely stunning while doing so. Katy Perry showed up with funky, purple hair, and Ariana Grande didn't look 15 years old. Through the good, the bad, and the ugly, the Grammy 2015 fashion managed to get everyone talking.

Last but not least, the awards. Sam Smith took home a total of four Grammys (wow!). After his track Stay With Me won Record of the Year, he closed his acceptance speech with, "I want to thank the man who this record is about, who I fell in love with last year. Thank you so much for breaking my heart, 'cause you got me four Grammys." BURN! If you have a Twitter account, I'm sure you noticed how many people were excited when Iggy Azalea didn't win any Grammys. Sorry Iggy fans, but I was on the same boat. When Beck's Morning Phase won Album of the year, Kanye almost pulled a Kanye. That's right. Remember back in 2009 when Taylor Swift won, and he stole the microphone and interrupted her, saying that Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time? There was almost a repeat. (Watch his explanation here- It was no joke!)

So there you have it. Of course, many more events took place; these are just some of last night's highlights. All the award-winning music is available for download on iTunes, I highly recommend you check them out!
